(Capra hircus) Jämt goat – The Jämt goat is one of our Swedish heritage goat breeds. It can vary in colour. Goats can be kept for their milk, and a good Jämt goat can produce 300–400 kg per season.
African pygmy goat – Originates from Africa and has long been a popular breed in zoos due to its size and pleasant temperament. Has short legs, a compact body, and a small head. Withers height approx. 40 cm.
Lapp goat – The Lapp goat is our northernmost heritage goat breed. It originates from and is adapted to reindeer grazing land.
