(Halichoerus grypus) Baltic Sea grey seals differ from Atlantic grey seals. Baltic Sea grey seals give birth to their pups on the ice during winter. Atlantic seals give birth to their pups in autumn on sandy beaches. An adult grey seal can dive up to 100 meters deep to catch fish.
