Lycksele Djurpark is Sweden’s northernmost zoo, specializing in Nordic animals. It was founded in 1959 by Holger Lithner, starting as a small animal collection at Gammplatsen. The zoo moved to Br\u00e4nnberget in 1966, where it has since grown into Norrland’s largest tourist attraction.
